It’s surprisingly nice and very decent quality. I love that the lowest level of brightness is so dim. At the lowest level it’s impossible to see with a light on but just right in a dark room. The alarm starts at a low volume and increases so it isn’t too jarring to wake up to.

For the past 10 years or more, I was using an old fashioned digital alarm clock that looked straight out of the 90s. It worked fine, but the print was extremely small and wasn’t helpful for those early mornings when you’re trying to figure out what time it is. I wanted a new clock that fit better with the aesthetic of my room and also had bigger numbers, and this one has worked great for me! I don’t use the alarm function because I prefer to use my cell phone for that, but the clock itself has been perfect. The design is sleek and goes well with the colors in my room and the furniture. It was easy to set up too. The only thing I would note is that the numbers are VERY bright. If you have a hard time sleeping with even a hint of light, this may not be for you. If you don’t mind the brightness or are able to put the clock somewhere it won’t bother you, then that should resolve the issue.

The model that I received is slightly different than the picture (in a much better way). The front and top are identical. But the backside has been redesigned, and it is wonderful. On other cheaper models, the buttons are small and barely labeled, if at all. But on the one I received, the backside buttons are large, very clearly labeled in white text (on black).
Setting the time was super easy. There is even a button to easily toggle Daylight Saving Time. Just press, and it subtracts an hour. Press again, and it adds the hour back. Makes the twice-a-year adjustment a piece of cake. The display is large and easy to read. Brightness has 5 levels, and is easy to adjust.
My use case for this clock was to replace the clock that used to be on my cable box. Just so used to having a clock under the TV. For something simple like that, this is perfect. It blends right in.

This is truly a simple but smart clock. I have the blue display which is very pleasant on the eye and is easy to see day or night – With 5 levels of brightness it works for any location with a very clean and large enough display.

My 12 year old daughter picked this out for her bedroom and she loves it! It’s super cute, a nice size, and looks great on her vanity. The alarm clock works as it should and she can choose different volumes. It’s easy to turn off and on.

This basic wooden alarm clock gets the job done for an affordable price, but has some drawbacks in quality and lacking certain desired features.
On the plus side, the large 1.8″ red LED display numbers are very easy to read from across the room as advertised. The dimmable brightness settings are handy to adjust for day/night visibility preferences. And the optional battery backup is a nice security blanket in case of power outages, though the display won’t light up on battery power alone.
The array of adjustable alarm volume levels from soft to loud is appreciated. However, I was disappointed to find the clock does not run on batteries alone as I had hoped – it requires being plugged into AC power to function beyond just the alarm backup. The included AC adapter and USB charging port are conveniences, though.
While the simple wooden design has a nice minimalist aesthetic, the overall build quality feels a bit cheap and flimsy, making me question its long-term durability. The asking price was fair for the features, but I can’t say I expect this to be an alarm clock that lasts for years and years.
For basic bedside or desktop needs on a budget, this gets the job done okay. But audiophiles or those with higher quality expectations may want to look at higher-end alarm clock options. I’d recommend this for temporary use cases when you just need an affordable no-frills visible clock and alarm.

I love this alarm clock. I bought one because I needed a new one. The simplicity of this alarm clock is amazing. It is modern and displays the time brilliantly. The settings are so easy to monitor. It is not complicated at all. It is reliable and fashionable. I bought one for my bedroom, fell in love with it, and bought another one for my guest room a few days later. I know alarm clocks are difficult to choose because of reliability. Trust me: This product is awesome. It is inexpensive, yet it is classy and gorgeous and perfect. I am obsessed with this alarm clock.
