Love the size of the numbers, ability to dim and so easy to set alarm and time – even has a 24 for clock setting capability. Super product.

Good product but requires constant connection to power source…

Exactly what I was looking for! Large numbers and a dimmer. I suffer from migraine headaches and am very sensitive to any type of bright lighting, being able to dim the display is absolutely perfect! I purchased this clock strictly for the time display not the alarm feature.

I’m trying to simplify my life and reduce (visual) clutter in my house. I’ve had my old clock radio since high school—roughly an eon ago—and it takes up two hectares of valuable bedside table space. Out with the old, in with this little cutie.
The entire clock fits in the palm of my hand and takes up almost no space on the table. But the numbers are large enough that I can see the time from across the room. It’s been several months since I bought it, but I don’t remember it being difficult to set. I haven’t had to re-set it since I bought it because the back up battery keeps the time even when the power goes out, and it hasn’t “lost” a minute of time since I’ve had it. [Please note!! If the power goes out, this particular clock does NOT continue to display the time and the alarm will not go off if the power is out. In this model, battery back up just means that when the power comes back on, the correct time will display without having to reset.)
I like that I have the option to power the clock either via the USB port in my bed frame or using the included adapter for AC/DC electric wall outlet. But my absolute favorite feature of this clock is the ability to easily adjust the brightness of the display. It can be dimmed from all the way down to nearly blacked out completely and all the way up to visible from space. I leave it very bright during the day and then dim it at bedtime.
Very nicely made and I would buy it again.

For those who just want a straightforward, simple little alarm clock that gets the job done without the bells and whistles, this is it. Easy to read, easy to set up, and lightweight. Dimmer switch is great with lots of options. Since I’m sensitive to light, I keep it very low, but it can be as bright as you like. Nothing fancy in the alarm sound, but it will wake you up as needed. A good purchase for those who want the basics.

This clock has a battery backup (batteries not included) so that in case of power outage the time will be correct when the power comes back on. The numbers are huge but the clock itself is small. The brightness of the numbers can be customized. The controls are on the back of the clock and are easy to use. Unlike many electric clocks, when setting it you can go both forward and backward, very useful for daylight savings adjustments. All in all, a perfect clock.

This has been my nightstand clock for 8 months as I post this review. I like that it has a much smaller footprint AND much bigger numerals than my previous alarm clock, which had also gotten very dim over the years. My eyes aren’t as good, either, as they were when I bought the previous one, but with this one, I can very easily read the time in the middle of the night without glasses — or during the day, across the room, although I keep my bedroom rather dark. The display has a nice brightness range, and as I recall, I turned it down almost to the dimmest setting. Green was my color choice, as I find it very relaxing and a little unusual.
I rarely use the alarm feature; I just wanted something that was easier to see. So although the alarm sound is a bit harsh for my preference, it doesn’t matter to me.
I wasn’t sure I’d use the extra USB port (the one not used to power the clock). But I do, every night, to charge my smartphone, just making sure to block notifications and calls. For what it’s worth, the phone’s display says “Charging rapidly,” unlike with the USB port on a few other devices I own. I leave the charging wire plugged into the clock all the time, to have one less connection to make.
Setting the time and alarm time is pretty intuitive, and the instructions were helpful for my first time or two. And there are clear markings on the back, for when those instructions are inevitably lost.
I tested the battery backup (along with all other features) when the clock first arrived, and it held the time as promised, though it can’t *display* the time while the power is out. (They are upfront about that in the instructions). I put two new alkaline AAA batteries in it when I received it, and haven’t had to replace them. I’m guessing they’ll last a couple of years.
The clock is very lightweight, but I can move the phone charging cord around without inadvertently moving the clock. A stiffer cord might be a bit trickier, if that’s a concern to anyone.
My only complaint, a small one, is that the unit I received is very slightly fast, based on a glance at my smartphone’s time display each day. I don’t assume every unit produced is exactly the same. Although I don’t have specific numbers, I would guestimate that it gains about 10 seconds a month. So in half a year, when it’s time (in many parts of the world) to reset anyway, due to Daylight Saving Time, it might only be a minute off. I was going to give the clock only 4 stars for that reason alone, but as I think about it, it’s not even bad enough to take one star away. I have a DVR clock that *loses* closer to a *minute* a month. But this may be more critical for some people than it is for me — retired!
Overall, very pleased.

Works well. I like the dimmable light.
nothin but the truth –
The clock is small, can fit almost anywhere. But the numbers are so big and bright you can see it from all the way across the room night or day. It comes with instructions, but I’ve actually never used them, the clock is very intuitive apnd easy to set up. Both the volume of the alarm and the brightness of the display are programmable. Which is great because on high the alarm can be heard from one end of the house to the other and on high brightness, could probably be seen from space. I bought one 6 years ago for my living room still works perfectly, bought a second one three years ago for downstairs still great and I’m back today to buy a third for the bedroom. I do recommend using the battery backup, which doesn’t work the clock but does keep your settings. Highly recommend!

Big numbers for a small digital clock. Battery backup keeps good time during short power outages. Clock is keeping excellent time after setting to WWV – changes on the second. Uses a USB A (large male to large male) charger (printer) cable which was too short for my old-school stereo cabinet and I had to buy a 6′ cable to put the clock in the desired location. No need for glasses to see the time from across the room with these large numbers. The dimmer dial is great and allows you to set just the right amount of light for your room’s ambiance. I would give 5 stars for a much longer cable. I’m not using this clock for an alarm so I have to comment on that feature. Finally, I really like the blue number color and that they are viewable from any angle.
