Easy to install with the double sided tape with velcro. Easy to take down in the morning, and paste back up at night. Overall an affordable solution to a blackout room. Cuts out some decibels from outside aswell.

I was skeptical with claims of 100% blackout while being portable and DIY, but they did not disappoint! The window in my girls’ room let in so much light. During the summer, my eight year old would wake at 5am and all year my two year old would wake after only a short nap. I measured and cut out a piece and sure enough the room is so dark! I also have enough left over to do other rooms, I just haven’t yet. My girls sleep so much better now! I haven’t used the portable aspect of the product yet, as I just needed it to stay put, but with the sticky-velcro pads I’m sure it would come off and on with ease. Definitely recommend, so much cheaper than buying new blinds and they work actually better than the blackout roller blinds we had made special for our room A+

i dont know about it cooling the room, but this completely blacks out all light. was easy to cut, hang, and it was big enough that i had plenty left over. i would definately buy this again.

Summer in Arizona with west facing bedroom windows can heat your bedroom a lot. This darkens the room and keeps it considerably cooler. Just measure, cut, and hang it up. The material was easier to cut with a razor blade rather than scissors. We used the Velcro on one window and the round stickers on another window. No problems with either method. Nothing has fallen off the window. When I opened the package there was a very slight odor but it was gone in less than a day. Pleased with the product: lightweight, durable, easy to hang, keeps the light out, and keeps the room much cooler.

I bought this for my son’s room in our rental and it’s perfect for what we need. I didn’t want to buy real shades since we are renting and this does exactly what it needs to. Blocks out the light, easy to install, and sticks on well.

Over all it is a decent product and the price i brought it for was reasonable. .Its easy to cut and the velco strips woorked well and there were enough for the job. They do block out the light. The only con was the round clear tabs only had one side that stick. Thus was probably a manufactural defect. Otherwise they were useless. I give this a B

The blackout curtain is easy to install and gets the job done.
However, I do not recommend this product if you are sensitive to smell. Our curtain had a terrible fishy/chemical smell to it. It was hard for us to get used to the smell so we had to remove it after a few days.

My wife and I put these on a western facing window that got several hours of direct sunlight, in Phoenix, AZ. These shades effectively blocked out every last bit of light (we carefully cut them to fit the window/s) and also considerably lowered the temperature in the room. If you need to block out some light these’ll do it

I measured my windows perfectly. I cut these perfectly to the size of my windows. The material is easy to handle cut easy it’s not that thick but as you can see, there’s no light coming through my windows. This fits so great and doesn’t let any light in. I’m really sensitive with the light and I need to sleep and this keeps out the sun that glares into my bedroom windows.
Medí mis ventanas perfectamente. Las corté perfectamente a la medida de mis ventanas. El material es facil de manejar cortar no es tan grueso pero como puedes ver, no entra nada de luz por mis ventanas. Esto encaja muy bien y no deja entrar nada de luz. Soy muy sensible con la luz y necesito dormir y esto mantiene fuera el sol que se cuela por las ventanas de mi dormitorio.
