A little superglue fixed my very minor issues and I’m happy overall.
Most tightened down flush with the base and were sturdy, but 2 screwed through the base and stuck out the bottom so you have to choose between a wobbly base or a loose top piece.

These were super easy to assemble once I figured out there was a correct way to go about it. Then I realized that two out of six candle stick holders were crooked. I tried to mix and match them but it seems the threads on the cups are just slightly off so these make the candles look even more crooked.
