This is the best rug pad I’ve ever found for a hardwood/vinyl plank floor. It adds some cushion for a thinner rug and keeps it from slipping around. I’ve had the other thin mesh-style grippy rug pads start to come apart and leave little rubber flakes all over the floor…the felt pad is much better in my opinion.

easy to cut its about an inch longer than the 5×7 rug i bought but its really nice and thick and makes walking on the rug very soft also doesnt move around the rug stays still

I’ve gone through a lot of floor pads. This brand gives the right combination of adhering to the floor and giving your carpet depth, not necessarily cushioning. If there’s one issue, it’s that it’s really tough to cut. Keep a number of fresh blades handy. You’ll need them to get clean cuts.

My downstairs/basement bedrooms have a sort of rubberized wood look flooring. I’ve tried quite a few things to prevent rugs from sliding, but nothing seems to really work. I got these because the floors get cold in Winter and I thought a little bit of padding underneath would be good for the rugs, but I did not expect these to work so amazingly well. They do not slide AT ALL and that is honestly the biggest plus for me! Well worth the cost. They seem very heavy duty, a little weighty, and just enough padding keep feet warm in the winter.

This does its job in padding the rug and keeping it from slipping. However, three stars because the dimensions were not as described. I should have only needed to cut across one side but it was bigger than advertised and I had to trim a lot off. It also wasn’t cut evenly to start.

This rug pad is definitely cushioned and it didn’t move from my floor, but it didn’t work for me. The rug I had on it, kept sliding off the top. Every time anyone walked over it, the rug shifted off of the pad. It was a little larger than the 2’x8′ rug I had so I trimmed it down but that seems to be the norm for any rug pad I’ve ordered. Ended up buying something else.
