Quite simply, these are beautiful, sturdy and well-made. Arrived so well packaged that I kept the foam inserts to protect the glass when these are being stored.
I can’t wait to design a holiday table with these in the middle. They are high enough to not block the line of sight across the table, and I can add all kinds of decor at the bottom for whatever seasonal celebration.
My only concern is that they are so high that I wonder how stable they will be when on an active table with lots of reaching. That’s not a problem with their manufacturing though, the weight of these feels good. It’s more a reflection of the activity level of my typical holiday table!
Even if I decide not to use them as a centerpiece, they will look good anywhere. I could visualize using them in a fireplace alcove, on floating shelves, a mantle, etc. They’re just beautiful.

I ordered the black coated hurricane candle holders to use on our entryway table and to accent some art that is displayed there, and as table decorations during the holiday season. We will be using flame-less candles with these holders which will be a beautiful look.
The holders and hurricane glass come safely packaged to prevent damage in shipping, the protection provided to assure safe delivery is impressive. The 6 candle holders come in 4 pieces each that need to be assembled before use. The assembly instructions are well written, and putting these together promised to be simple. However, there was one problem that made assembly not so easy.
The steps needed to assemble are simply, screw upright rod into a base, screw the candle holder base (top part) onto the upright rod, place the hurricane glass onto the candle base holder base. The problem comes on step one, screwing the rod onto the base. This connection is made with a piece of threaded tubing that screws into the base and also onto threads inside the rod. The threads in some cases to not match exactly, and when you attempt to screw the rod onto the base, you can only thread it easily about half way; attempting to screw it the rest of the way results in the tube itself turning inside the base and poking out the bottom so that the base can no longer stand upright. In some cases, when this happened, I was able to back out the rod, flip it over and successfully screw on the other end. In some cases I could not find any rods that would thread all the way onto the base. I was able to get around this problem by using some pliers with rubber coated jaws (to prevent damage) to screw the threaded tube most of the way into the rod, and then screw the rod and tube combination into the base. While not ideal, this did work to get all six candle holders put together.
Once the bases have been assembled the glass tubes simply set on top of the candle bases. Note that they do not fit tightly, just very loosely. If you have pets or small children, I would be sure to keep these out of their reach since the glass could easily be knocked off the base; this is especially true when there is no candle in the holder since there is little to stop the glass from falling off the base. You might also think twice about using these outside where the wind might blow the glass off of its base.
With everything finally put together and safely placed where they will not be toppled, these are very stylish, beautiful candle holders and we will enjoy them for many years to come.

After knocking over one of my candle holders for the umpteenth time and breaking the taper, I decided to upgrade to a better quality, more stable set of candle holders. This set fits the bill perfectly. I was hesitant to order the black ones initially because other reviewers noted they had difficulty screwing the pieces together (seems to only be an issue with the black ones). I had no trouble with assembly, all the pieces screwed together with no difficulty. Once together, the holders are solid, well made and stable-not inclined to tip over at the slightest touch. Overall, I’m well pleased with these candle holders-they are an attractive, stylish upgrade and appropriately priced given their quality. Great product!

I like this set very much. I can add some floral pieces around these and have a perfect centerpiece for any holiday dinner, large or small. First I should tell you that these pieces came very well packaged to prevent shipping damage. POKINE actually designed the shipping protection so that you can keep it and store the set in it when you want to tuck it away for a while. The set is well made, very easy to assemble. The bottom of each candle has protection, so that any surface you set these on will be safe. I don’t know what it is made of, but it is high end. There are 6 pieces in the whole set, 2 of each size, which make an eye catching decorative ambiance without much effort. The candles in the pictures do not come in the set, they were some I had on hand. I am planning on getting some different colored candles, to use for the different holidays, maybe black for Halloween. I would not light real burning candles in these. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that you do need to take some care when screwing them together. I did the very minimum in the video, to be secure screw them together all the way. When unscrewing the pieces to put them in storage, be sure not to move the silver screw on the bottom piece on to the stick. Leave the screw in the bottom disc, it is a lot easier to put together if you leave it that way.. I found this set to be well made, easy to use, and a fun and classic decoration.

These are packed beautifully. Easy to assemble with threaded/screw pieces. Once assembled, very sturdy, no wiggling. The gold tone is shiny, maybe more like a brass color, but that works for me. Candles are not included. These will look beautiful as holiday decor or year round decor. Varying height stems make them very versatile.

I love these candle holders – they are so elegant while still being understated and a beautiful touch to your table. Using these for Christmas party this year and they are going to create such a decorative impact. The black is nice and these are well made and feel more expensive than they are. Could work for any decor style – they will fit seamlessly. 🙂
