We recently bought the HOMEIDEAS Cappuccino Blackout Door Curtains, and they have been an excellent addition to our home. Here’s why we love them:
Pros:
Great Functionality: We needed something to cover our back and front door windows for added privacy at night. Initially, we considered frosted window stickers, but we still wanted to look out the windows occasionally. These curtains offer the perfect solution—privacy at night and the ability to roll them up during the day to enjoy natural light.
Easy to Use: Rolling up the curtains takes only about 30 seconds, and the velcro straps are very secure and sticky. To undo the covering, you simply pull the velcro straps and let the curtain fall. Installation was also a breeze.
True Color: The color matches the pictures perfectly and fits well with our house’s color scheme.
No Real Cons: This product works exactly as intended. It was decently priced, easy to use and install, and provides the privacy we need when we want it.
Overall, the HOMEIDEAS Cappuccino Blackout Door Curtains have exceeded our expectations. They are functional, easy to use, and look great. Highly recommended for anyone looking to balance privacy and natural light!

Nice looking curtain and it certainly does what I needed it for, but it came shipped in a see through plastic bag and it was missing the Velcro strip to stick it to my door. Luckily, I already had some Velcro lying around, but still very disappointing, especially since it took awhile to be shipped to me.

I bought the 10″ version about 3 months ago for the window beside my front door. I love the simplicity of the product, it perfectly serves its purpose. I am a renter and didnt want a permanent solution that I would have to repair when I move out.
The only issue is that the adhesive failed a couple weeks ago. I mounted this to the interior part of a south facing window, directly on the glass. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that there was a gap at the top of the curtain, the next day the curtain was laying on the floor. I put the curtain back up and it stayed until 3 days ago and now it will fall daily.
The adhesive appeared very strong and I never imagined that there would be an issue with it staying. Perhaps UV light has broken down the adhesive qualities, maybe the cooler weather has impacted it, maybe it’s gremlins, we may never know. There is still quite a bit of adhesive left on the window though and seems very sticky but still falls down.
I have ordered more double sided tape and will tape it to the frame this time in hopes of it lasting longer. I will throw in the towel after that and just paint over the window. Scraping paint off a window is easier than repairing holes in a metal door frame.

True to color and images, I’d say it blocks the light from our door window pretty well. Feels thick, durable, and material is soft. I’m impressed that it has stayed up. Our 1 year old cat was still young when we got it and immediately began jumping and hanging off the bottom when I put it up. It came down once but I pressed adhesive strip firmly to the door and it hasn’t come down since. Thankfully she has also outgrown hanging from the curtains. It survived with very minimal wear on the bottom as well, so holds up to kitten claws great!

This is perfect for my back door in my apartment. Went up super easy and works exactly as I’d hoped. Completely average weight and light blocking but all I was looking for.

The adhesive backed velcro was the perfect thing to install this with ease. The color was a slight burnt orange definitely more pumpkin than burnt orange. It keeps the sun out and is a good weight. The size is perfect.

Looks perfect in daytime or nighttime as it goes up or down in a second. Is a blackout curtain.
