We ordered this to protect our furniture from our cats when we weren’t home. We do not sit on the plastic! We remove them when we want to sit on the furniture. Not convenient but it saves the furniture. So far we’ve been happy with it. Fits nicely. Not too snug that it’s tight but not too loose either.

I’ve only had this cover a few months and it’s ripping at the seams. It is a couch only used occasionally, not daily sitting by humans. The dog and cats sleep on it but that’s about it. I’m rather disappointed it didn’t last long. I’m having to duct tape it together while I find a better replacement.

Does not hold up. The center pops as soon as any pet or person sits on it. Do not waste your money. Customer service DOES NOT GET BACK TO YOU.

I had bought this item back in 2021 along with one for my living room chair. I purchased it because I bought new living room couch and chair and didn’t want my two cats scratching at them with their claws. Over the past 2 years, they have held up very well. However, they have started to tear and my cats are now able to get through the plastic with their claws. My feeling is, they have worked well for the two years and didn’t find them to be that expensive when I originally bought them. Today, I have purchased replacements. If you are looking to buy these, I highly recommend buy two each for the extra protection.

Update: It’s been 6 months, no rips or tears. My cats have not made holes in them. It is 100% waterproof. I have an elderly cat that will pee on the couch. No liquid has gone through to the couch. I just use the mop to clean the pee & good as new. These covers are fantastic. I always keep my cats nails trimmed to avoid damage to furniture, bed sheets, & curtains. Keep your cats nails trimmed & you won’t have any issues.

So I got me one of these to protect my white leather sofa against our large dog who I have tried everything to discourage him getting on it and turning it into a brown/black sofa, to which I am forever having to clean it to get it white again. Our sofa is a large 3-seater and this cover is actually a little bigger, definitely big enough.
I’ve used blankets until now, but blankets look awful as covers because can’t see the white leather, so I saw one of these clear covers on a TV program and thought I’d give it a go, and for only £25, it’s worth a shot. And of course, blankets always come off.
It does exactly as advertised.
It’s thick enough to provide the right protection, although do check the length of your dogs’ claws as if too long and sharp, they could go through. However, if like us you take your dog for long walks/runs, then the claws should not be long, or sharp.
The cover is moulded to the shape of “A” sofa with seems, but will not fit your sofa exactly – Of course it won’t, and why should we expect it to for £25.
So do yourself a favour…..
When you get yours. It comes packaged all folded up. Which means that when you get it out, it will be very very creased and crinkled.
If you buy in summer then do yourself a huge favour and leave it out in the midday sun for an hour or two to soften it up, before you attempt to put it on.
I didn’t have the luxury of sun, due to buying at a colder time of the year, so it stretched it out as much as I could and put it on the sofa….. But it looked awful due to the creases and crinkles.
Like any plastic, it will eventually iron itself out, but I decided I would use my heat gun on it.
But BE CAREFUL – Keep the heat a long distance away from it otherwise you will probably melt it.
This did not happen to me. I worked it slowly and methodically with the heat gun no less than 2 feet away all the time. Using my hand as an iron and to see if it got too hot – IF IT GETS TOO HOT TO TOUCH, THEN YOU ARE OVERDOING IT!!
The result is brilliant. I was not able to get ALL the creases out, but most. But more importantly, I was also able to mold it much more easily to the shape of my sofa.

The material is thick and reminds me of a shower curtain. Our cat’s nails won’t be able to ruin the leather underneath. Purchased due to one of our cats having urinary issues and a penchant for peeing on the sofas. Wish we got this sooner! We actually have purchased 4 of these now and it has been great.

I love the fit. I love how it works, but the seam smack down the middle seems to come apart after a week or two of use. I find myself continually buying replacements. It needs alittle more give.

When our cat developed a UTI, we needed to protect our sofa and armchair from his “accidents” until he recovered. This is perfect! It’s large enough that it’s easy to slip over the sofa, and easy to remove when we choose to. The plastic is also sturdy enough that the cat’s claws can’t puncture it.

This does the job great for keeping my cat and bunny from damaging the couch overnight.
It’s super thick and easy to put on and take off, very reusable.
Con:
-does not fold down very small, so storing it while couch is in use isn’t ideal
-quite loud when you’re moving it, so not ideal if you’re doing it early in the morning and trying to let the household sleep.
Personally, I find those two cons very very minor when factoring in how great this is. Just don’t buy it thinking it’ll “blend right in” since it’s clear. Very visually noticeable.
