Great gift idea. One for me and ordered more for bird lovers especially children. So many bird sounds to choose from.

I like the idea of the clock making different bird sounds. However, there is no off switch or a volume adjusting nob. I tried covering the sensor with a sticky note but it doesn’t work. What did work was setting the clock face down on the wooden table.
Maybe in my last life this would have been OK but my husband got into an accident and loud sounds bother him and he’ll be working from home in our one-bedroom apartment so the clock may not be best.
Also, we have Aqua Gardens and the lights go on at night so the clock does too.
As for the sounds, it is kind of loud and jarring, not like the actual live birds outside.

Bought this for my Grandparents as my Grandfather loved birds. He loved it and it is still working and looking like new after 3 years of use.

Me encantó. Es divertido escuchar el canto característico de cada una de las 12 aves que forman las horas del reloj. Trae además un folleto explicativo de cada una de las especies de aves. Trae también un soporte por si quiere ponerse sobre un mueble en vez de colgarlo. Y el canto de aves al dar la hora puede suprimirse quitando las baterías, que son aparte de la que sirve para hacer andar al reloj. De noche, el volumen baja en automático porque es sensible a la oscuridad así que no molesta en horas de sueño.

First off its a very beautiful clock but not all birds make a sound and also the clock was smaller than I expected.

Love having the birds announce the time. I had missed it having our old clock died. I love that this one has the owl at the top of the hour
The birds are so loud and crisp it is like they are right there next to you it startled me!
