- DURABLE COMFORT CUSHION: Choose from three felt thickness options – 1/4″, 3/8”, and 1/2″ – offering various levels of soft feel underfoot, flooring protection, sound absorption, insulation, and all-around extra comfort for your area rugs in any room around your home.
- EXTRA GRIP: The latex rubber backing provides additional grip under your area rugs to help prevent slipping, sliding, bunching, and wrinkles during everyday use. (area rug not included)
- RECOMMENDED USE: Larger area rugs, over 5×8, with latex backing provide the best non-slip functionality. For added non-slip grip to scatters, runners, and other smaller area rug sizes under 5×8, it is recommended to use rug tape or non-slip corner tabs to help prevent slipping and sliding in high traffic spaces.
- CUSTOMIZABLE SIZING: Simply score the surface and trim your rug pad with scissors to fit any area rug size or shape. For the 3/8” and 1/2″ thick rug pad options, it is recommended to trim the pad 2” short of your area rugs perimeter. For the 1/4″ thick rug pad option, it is recommended to trim the pad 1” to 2” short of your area rugs perimeter.
- FLOORING TYPES: For carpet, simply place the rug pad under your rug with the felt side down. For hard surface flooring, place the rug pad under your rug with the non-slip latex rubber side facing down.

I purchased the 9×12 pad, and chose the 1/4 inch because I was afraid a thicker pad would show around the edges of the rug. It doesn’t show at all, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the feel of this pad. I used to have a gripper pad (the one that looks like an open weave) and this one feels significantly better. The rubber underside assures it won’t slip. Despite the large size, this pad was easy to lay out and adjust. I’m very happy with this product!

Our area rug on hardwood floor was forever moving around. I was constantly fixing it and it was making me crazy. Got this non-slip pad and boom, no more fixing the rug. And my husband likes the extra cushioning on his feet when he walks through the room. Felt on one side which grips nicely to the canvas backing on the rug and latex on the other side that grips nicely to the floor. Wish I had gotten this sooner!

I bought two of these rug pads (5×8, and 9×12) for large area rugs in my place and I am completely satisfied. They arrived neatly packaged – folded in their own boxes – and the folds/ridges quickly disappeared once the pads had been laid out for a little while. Both pads were exactly the shape and size needed so no cutting necessary!
The pads are a good thickness – they add a little comfort while walking on the rug but don’t raise the profile of the rug so you aren’t constantly tripping on the rug edge or kicking it up.
This rug pad has changed my entire rug experience. If I need another, I will probably look here first!

You will not regret this purchase! I got the 6’x9′ for my Ruggable which was extremely flat and constantly sliding around. The reviews on this rug pad were great so I had to try it. I splurged for the 1/2″ because the price difference wasn’t much and I’m glad I did! This gives our previously hard and thin rug a luxurious feel. It is so soft and cushiony and gives great support, and best of all, no more sliding! Stays perfectly still. It is maybe 1/4″ big on the sides, but that may have been operator error. Well worth the purchase!!

This is the best rug pad I’ve ever purchased. Bottom is rubber and top is some mix of recycled felt and super “grabby” texture. I got the 8×10 for a new rug and it fulfilled my expectations and will protect both the rug and the flooring beneath, as well as keep the rug from slipping from position. It is a massive step up in quality from the common white waffle rug pads — there is just no comparison. I knocked a point off for the smell (LOL), as it is pretty stinky of chemicals. Spread out without the rug on it, it dissapated fairly well in 24 hours, but was still there somewhat when I put the rug down. With the rug in place, I no longer smell it. I did have to trim the edges since my rug was somewhat less than 8×10, and it was a firm material to cut, but I just used my heavy duty scissors and made quick work of it. I do highly recommend this product — even with a couple days of stinkiness!

The mattress pad is a great price, feels great under a thin rug, stays in place, had no creases. But, I’ve had this in my home for a week and can’t get out the smell. It’s like stale rubber! Open windows, air purifier, air fresheners, baking soda, vodka spritzes, vinegar spritzes. It’s not overpowering, in fact, I stop noticing it after about an hour, but I’m sensitive to smells and can smell it right away every time I come home! Maybe if you have the luxury of airing it out outside, or aren’t sensitive to smells? I’ve already cut it down to size so I guess I’ll have to learn to live with it.

This rug pad is impressively push and feels amazing to walk on with a rug over it. The rubberized bottom holds it in place. I never leave reviews on Amazon, but I’ve been so impressed by this rug pad that I had to share.
I will definitely buy this rug pad for all future rug purchases. It also shipped quickly! I highly recommend this product. And I’m never going back from the half inch width. It feels so good to walk on!
We trimmed the rug pad a little bit on two edges so that our rug had a 2 inches on top so the rug would lay flat.
Pictured: this is a 9 x 12 rug pad underneath my dining room rug. The rug itself is a purchase from Amazon as well: Safavieh100% wool rug.

We used it over rough plank flooring with a Persian Rug and it was excellent. It unpacks easily, lies flat, stays in place, and arrives very clean with few random fibres. I’ve already bought another one … highly recommend.

I had purchased a 4×6 faux fur rug. It was wonderfully fuzzy, but had absolutely no padding, and the smooth backing was slippery as ice. I tried a different anti slip pad first, but the rug kept slipping off the pad. This pad solves all the problems. It is exactly 4 x 6 feet. It is just shy of a half inch thick. ( I was going to get the 3/8 inch, but for the price, I decided to upgrade. I’m glad I did. It’s good padding, but I think anything less wouldn’t be adequate.) The 1/2 inch padding is thick enough to make it comfortable to sit or kneel on the floor. (Anyone can stand on these, but if old knees are comfortable, you know it’s good.)
What’s really amazing is that—as advertised—the bottom surface holds fast to my laminate floor and the top surface holds the rug safely in place.
The rug itself has uneven edges (it’s supposed to look like a fur rug) so I’m going to eventually trim the pad to more evenly match the rug. Previous reviews suggested that it is easy to trim. If I have any problems, I’ll update this review.
Otherwise, I’ll say—especially from someone who had been shopping for a good pad for a while—this is an excellent non-slip pad and is excellent quality for the price.
Edited later to add: Well, I came back to add an update, but I never actually posted this review. So, I’ll just add and post. Several weeks later and I’m still very happy with this pad. But I did want to add a note about trimming it. As mentioned above, the rug I have on top of the mat is not an exact 4×6. I needed to trim about an inch off the length and an inch off the width of the pad to make it fit underneath the rug perfectly. But it was not easy! I tried every kind of scissors I had in the house. A box cutter just shredded it. Finally, my guy came around with some industrial scissors (they looked like tin snips, but I don’t think that’s what they were) and his much stronger hands than mine, and he was able to make a nice, neat trim. With the right tool and the right user, the mat trims nicely with no fraying. I’m going to guess, when they show the picture of the mat being cut with regular scissors, it’d probably the thinner version and not the 1/2 inch.
Still, very happy with this product!

This rug pad is a perfect example of “less is more.” It’s not fancy, but it provides exactly what I need: reliable grip and a bit of cushioning. My hardwood floors can be slippery, especially with a lighter rug, but this pad keeps everything firmly in place. No more bunching, shifting, or sliding!
What I appreciate most is the balance of cushion and thinness. It adds a subtle layer of comfort underfoot without significantly raising the rug’s height. This is especially important for me because I have a door that needs to clear the rug.
If you’re looking for a straightforward, effective rug pad that does its job without any fuss, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great value and delivers on its promises.

This pad made walking on our rug more comfortable and quiet. Great improvement and worth the investment.
