I have a lovely LANE leather recliner which was $1400. Five years ago. I am the only person to sit in this chair and it gets used everyday. Unfortunately the leather on the seat started to wear thin so I bought this to put on the seat. It works well and the colour is almost identical to the original chair covering. Recently the head rest started to wear so I purchased again and it looks good as you can see from the photo. I would never have expected a LANR chair which was rather expensive to wear so poorly.. Would recommend this product.

I’ve been using this about a month now, and I’m very satisfied. The only thing is the strong adhesive strip that it uses to attach to the top of the recliner. I was concerned that over time it might pull the surface off of the leather, so I removed it and replaced it with a couple of lighter weight 3M velcro strips, which are doing the job just fine.

This is just what I needed for my leather Lazy Boy recliner. It’s leather and I had been using a brown towel on the head and back rest. This cover is the perfect color and it’s big enough to cover halfway down the back and still drape over the top. Width is perfect for my chair. It has small raised nubs on backside to get traction on the leather chair. It does come with adhesive pads to keep it in place,but I’m not going to use them,because I don’t want the glue to stain or give me trouble taking it off. I’m happy with the way it stays put without the adhesive pads. Color is very close. Chocolate was the color and it’s perfect for my recliner. I’m happy with this cover. It works as advertised. Recently we purchased a more costly recliner than we intended too. However, the Golden Technology PR-515 Recliner with “MaxiComfort Cloud with Twilight Positioning” is all that and more. It is definitely worth it for all the extra things that the recliner does. But that is not what this amazon review is about. It’s about protecting this expensive recliner. We tried a blanket, and it kept falling off and it made the recliner look like a clothes line 🙂 Anyways, saw this on amazon and it looked like the closest thing to the BUCKSKIN leather that we had chosen. It is a touch darker, but someone would have to get really close to the recliner to notice. It protects the headrest area well. The most significant thing is that it doesn’t move…. it has a velcro adhesion on the back of the recliner that helps it to stay in place. An excellent buy.
By the way, we actually ordered a headrest cover and armrest covers from the manufacturer. They cost over 100 dollars and they were teeny tiny. Apparently a custom job too. I was not impressed at all. The Golden Technology company needs to think a little bit about this.

BACKSTORY:
after just three years two of our lazy boy gray leather power sofa head rests had lost *all* of their color. i tried to use various dyes but each failed to do the job.
online research led me to this product. we ordered two sets of two: one set of taupe and one set of burgundy. they arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition.
the color of each set was as advertised and looked great. we test drove the colors for a few days then returned the burgundy and bought another set of taupe.
i’ve read a few comments about the adhesive not holding up so i’ve given it only four stars. i’ll keep an eye on it and if it makes it for a year i’ll upgrade my review to five stars.
(one month update: they still look, fit, and work as advertised.)

Bin mit diesen Kopfstützenbezügen sehr zufrieden. Ich habe zunächst einen bestellt um zu sehen wie er aussieht und muss sagen, dass er einen sehr gut Eindruck macht. Deshalb habe ich gleich einen zweiten bestellt. Ein Festkleben an unserem Lederzweisitzer war nicht notwendig. Hält auch so sehr gut.
Würde ich jederzeit wiederkaufen.

We love this headrest cover for our new recliner to protect our leather fabric from stains of oil and perspiration. We got the chocolate color and it matches our chair perfectly. not using the stick on velcro at this point as the non-slip cover stays put quite well all by itself. I an impressed by the quality of this item. Delivery was quick.

I purchased this product because the headrest on my recliner was discoloring from my husband’s bald head. After reading the reviews, it seemed to be the perfect solution. However, it would not stay in place. Because you are against it when you recline it pulls off the velcro and you have to put it back, at least with how our recliners are constructed and the position in which I had to place the cover. The top pillow section of our recliners moves when you recline. It may work better if you can position it so it moves with the recliner movement.
After I removed the adhesive part of the velcro it took several applications of goo gone to get all the adhesive off. I can still use it without the adhesive as it still looks better than a towel draped on the back of the sofa but I’m disappointed that it didn’t work as expected. It does look nice and is nicely constructed and should work well on non-reclining furniture.
