The thickness is a big plus with these bags. Very handy to wrap up some lawn furniture for storage. Didn’t rip with moving and handling, and the tie (a shoelace-like material) and label were nice bonuses.

The plastic is very sturdy, however, it’s just way to big for my loveseat. It would be great for storage or moving (if you taped it closed, I guess. I gave it four stars because of the fact that it looks nothing like the photo (as far as the size). I’m using it for moving very soon but also because I have an 18 yr old cat that urinates on anything new that I bring into my apartment. I just got the loveseat, so he decided it was something he should pee on. So, instead of kicking him out the door, I cover the sofa at night & every time I go out for an extended amount of time. I know its ridiculous, it is what it is…. So, I’ll just use this for moving & hope it doesn’t tear in the process, so that I can continue to use it as a cat urine barrier afterwards. The plastic is very thick, so I have high hopes that it will survive the move. Because of the overly large size, its just inconvenient to put away when I am home & using the sofa. Otherwise, I would say it’s a good product & worth the price.

I must have misunderstood these coverings because I thought they completely went around the couch but they just cover the top part. I was hoping they would go all the way around so they weren’t as useful as I hoped. Our couch is currently in a storage unit while we look for a house and I am just hoping the there’s no leaks because this wouldn’t prevent much from getting through. It is a thick plastic and a good size but I don’t think it’s the best protection unless you’re just worried about dust.

It is sturdy, thick, well made, just as advertised.
(Not much more one can say about a very large plastic bag, really.)
One detail, though, does not show in the pictures provided on the product page. For me, that turned out to be problematic in view of what I intended : the inside top corners are « wedged » (as a folded bag or envelope) i.e. they’re not cut square; so if you need to cover something square (such as an upright piano, for instance), you won’t have a good and proper fit.
That said, this is clearly an excellent product. Recommended.
