I purchased replacement bulbs for a 1960s ceramic Christmas tree, and they fit perfectly in the holes without any adjustments. Someone had suggested using a nail file to resize them if needed, but that wasn’t necessary. The bulbs are made of heavy, high-quality plastic and don’t feel cheap at all. I had previously bought bulbs from Michael’s, but they didn’t fit my two ceramic trees. I highly recommend these bulbs and hope they work as well for you as they did for me!

I have a vintage ceramic tree that I was missing a few of the bulbs and the star most importantly. I was super excited to find a kit that included three stars. However, when I tried to insert the star into the top of this tree, it was way too big, and the individual bulbs were too small. I was still able to use the bulbs. I just put a little hot glue on them to keep them in A man the holes but as far as the star was concerned, I had to try and sand them down so I started with the color that I liked the least, and it didn’t work out so well, but then I tried again, it did take me about a half an hour worth of sanding it down, but I did eventually get it to be small enough to fit into the the top of the ceramic tree .
