Very nice pad for a decent price. Easy to trim if you need to with a scissors. I originally bought one for den area rug then bought a second one for a different room and will buy again if I need one.

This protective rug pad is good for what we were looking for….really easy to unpackage and cut to size! Wish that I had ordered one that is a little bit thicker as our cowhide rug is quite thin. Nevertheless, I am happy with the quality, ease of cutting and placing the rug pad in the space.

This pad is the right thickness and adds comfort to my area rug. I knocked off a star because the pad needed to be trimmed, which was a pain. It is the same size as the 10×14 rug, not 3 to 6 inches shorter than the rug on each side, so the edges of the rug stuck up and was a tripping hazard.

Pad was about 1 inch wider than my carpet do it had to be cut to size despite supposedly being the same size as the carpet that I ordered.

Rug pad is as advertised. It’s decent quality and feels good underfoot. The area rug now looks more substantial with the 1/4” of padding beneath. Best approach is the lay the under pad on top of your area rug, positioning it 1” short of the edge of the rug. I had to trim two sides using heavy duty Klein Tools shears. Scissors, even heavy duty ones, will not work and will make a mess of the edge. Once you have the size right, place the pad down on the floor and roll the rug on top. I used green painters tape to hold the pad in place until the rug was perfectly positioned on top.

We looked long and hard for a pad that didn’t have latex in it as most floors don’t like it and I prefer not to have it as well. We have original hardwood floors in our 60 year old home which we just refinished and I didn’t want the latex to discolour the floor. It definitely discolours Lino and assume it does the same to every type of floor as most info I found says not to put it on floors. This pad was the only one in both Canada and USA that didn’t have latex so it was the only one to get. It has a film of some kind on one side, I suppose to keep everything together, so we put it up so our carpet sits on top of that. The soft pad side sits on our floor. We got 3/8 thick and it’s just right under our jute/cotton rug as it’s not a soft carpet so needed something soft underneath. Our rug is 6×9 and the rug pad is perfectly 1” less on all sides. We have a large coffee table on the rug so nothing slides around.

Purchased this rug pad for a 9×12 low pile wool area rug in my home office. Did not need to trim the rug pad. It fit perfectly under the area rug and makes it really comfortable to walk on the rug with socks. Just the right amount of cushioning.

This rug packing worked out it was the perfect size it’s comfortable on the feet the color isn’t bad but you don’t have to worry about that cuz you won’t see it it’s very sturdy and it functions as it should and it has no stickiness to it it’s very sturdy

Ordered the 1/2 in” 8×10. The actual size delivered was 95×121.
Our rug is 93×120 so needed to trim Easy delivery, no off gas or odor. Perfectly perfect cushion.

We used this underpaid for a thin rug in our Living Room. We did not have to cut it, the size was perfect. It made such a difference, makes the rug so comfortable to walk on now. Would definitely recommend it.

We got notice the pad had been delivered at 8:19 am. Yet, my husband and I were both home, I left at 9, no 9X12 rug pad on the porch! So we notified them, and honestly, their attitude was very offensive. “Oh, check with a neighbor,” “maybe it is next door”…”give it 24 hours.” 24 hours and no pad. I get a knock on my door…a home care aid asked if we were expecting a box. Sure enough it had been delivered to the completely wrong address. Wrong number, wrong street name. When we told the Seller, the attitdue was “that’s UPS, not our fault.” It was super annoying and killed a lot of the excitement we had for our new 1/2 inch rug pad, which, I will say really makes a difference and is much more comfortable to sit on and play with the g-kids. I recommend the pad, but if you order, better notify the neighborhood with fliers in case it gets dropped 2 1/2 blocks away!
