We purchased my daughter this elf for her second Christmas and she names her elf cereal and absolutely loves him. He’s so small and cute he makes for the perfect Christmas companion. We did think it was a little expensive when first purchasing, but it’s been worth it! My daughter finds the elf’s shenanigans so entertaining! My only complaint is probably getting him to stay in the intended set up! I’ve had to tape him in some areas! It would be nice if he had some sort of wire in him or some sort of adhesive you could order to get them to stay! But we are definitely stuck on this new tradition!!!

growing up I had an elf on the shelf and it brought me so much joy around Christmas. I love the story that comes with it, and the elf is adorable! You can write the name of your elf right in the book, and choosing a name for our elf really brought the family together. If you have young kids and are considering getting them an elf then you absolutely should. Yes, it is a pain to move the elf every night (my mom forgot to a couple times when I was a kid). but she always said “the elf new Santa was really busy last night so he probably wanted to wait to talk to Santa during the day!” and the elf would be in a different place when i got back from school. Super cute addition to your Christmas traditions, totally recommend elf on the shelf!

It came in a box with the book describing how the entire thing with the elf works. It’s nice to read it with kids. It was so much fun to play around with elf and place it in a different spot every morning. The quality of the package, book and elf itself is fantastic! 5 stars and will recommend each family to get it and have a funny tradition with elf on a shelf at home!
